The glass room itself is lovely at first glance, however Ellen/Helen spent over 6 months with me trying to sending a builder back out to fix various issues since it was installed. These issues were flagged during construction and have been chased with this company and the builder (Mick, who does not have an online presence to contact directly and blocked my partners number) repeatedly: Good: -Conservatory team are very affable - nice looking product Bad - arrived missing a panel - still leaking as of 12th June 2024 - Room built some mm too high so had to buy different, shorter, flooring and get our locksmith out to realign the doors (out and in) as doors scraped or dropped on the hinges when used. - had to build the room 6 inches to the right of where we had planned in the paperwork with Inspired conservatories. The builders advised Inspired Conservatories' plans were not physically possible. - Left a trench when "finished" building so we had to go out and buy loads of soil to fill the hazard as this was not agreed as way to leave a project (floorless, trench all around, door issues) - Leaving it a building site caused our elderly dog to become injured and we've tragically since had to put him down due to his injuries. I believe this to be a direct correlation to Mick's (builder) unprofessionalism. - the third party builder turned up when we said we were no longer available due to an emergency away and BROKE INTO OUR BACKYARD while no one was in, climbing over our fence and onto the glass room, to do some of the sealant work required. I have since finished the job myself as we do not grant legal permission for Mick Rouse to access our property ever again. - Additional Costs: 2x flooring, storage water damage, flooring installation, realigning doors, lots of vet bills, sealant, skip, lots of emotional distress

Only worked part-time and odd days, didn't do a professional job at all. I complained to Gemma and she put me in touch with Alex from Brum who promptly came, noted all the problems and put them all right. I now have the conservatory I dreamt of. Inspired are a great company 10/10.

Having decided that a self-build conservatory was the way forward I spent a lot of time looking at the various companies that provide this service and how the process works. There are a lot of companies that use the Durabase system, but I finally settled on Inspired Conservatories Direct, due mainly to the positive reviews, but also the price which was very competitive. From ordering our conservatory to actual delivery was remarkably quick and the company were in constant contact to check each detail, from brick colour to roof choice. The Durabase was delivered complete with comprehensive instructions and the conservatory arrived around 10 days later, again, with very comprehensive instructions. From preparing the site to completion took around 3 weeks and although it was a challenge, I am really pleased with the result, which looks very professional and and is also extremely practical, giving us an extra room. I would have no hesitation in recommending Inspired Conservatories, support was excellent throughout the build, I am reasonably competent at DIY, but did need guidance a few times and this was always available, either by phone or email. Nothing was too much trouble and when needed, extra supplies were shipped to me extremely quickly without fuss or extra expense.
